A long time ago I found the attached doc on how to manually download a fingerprint file/ posture details.

Needless to say it doesn't seem to work  now. Is there an up to date version of it?

Alex, Fill in the Username and Password with the supplied legacy subscription id to download the updates manually from clearpass.arubanetworks.com

    "95jqdf-x6xvc4-gvvgy7-x288zb-vd7fjq"

    Hope this helps!

    Jeff

    1.
Navigate to https://clearpass.arubanetworks.com/cppm/appupdate/<apps_update_filename>, where <apps_update_filename> is one of the following file names:

    cppm_antivirus_updates.signed.tar (Posture Signature Updates)

    cppm_fingerprints.signed.tar (Endpoint Profiler Fingerprints)

    cppm_windowshotfixes_updates.signed.tar (Windows Hotfixes Updates)

cppm_apps_updates.signed.tar (File contains all three updates listed above. This file is updated once per day.)

    2. When prompted for authentication credentials, enter your Subscription ID or or the Subscription ID 95jqdf-x6xvc4-gvvgy7-x288zb-vd7fjq for both the username and password. (Starting with Policy Manager 6.8, the name of the downloaded file is cppm_apps_updates.signed.tar.)

Yup that worked fine…. the problem is that I was hoping to be able to downgrade the fingerprint. It appears ( not verified) that the latest fingerprint upgrade updated 43K endpoints to be smartdevice/androud/android and took out the Amazon fingerprint definitions for ~900 devices . Was hoping to be able to downgrade fingerprint and restore endpoints
