Clearpass onboarding - web browser hanging /freeze issue

    Hi All, 

    I have an occasional issue of browser hanging / freeze after submit user name/password.  grey out  "processing" button.  Sometime this will eventually go to next step  after 10+ minutes. other times never proceed to next step.  This is random and will happen in all OS devices.  This will happen about 25% of time,  rest work quick and onboard properly.   

    TAC had a look at configs and logs but couldn't find any  issues.

    Onboard setup is with google SLDAP. 

    anyone else observe this ?   Any pointer will help.

    I would run a trace from the browser, with the developer tools, so you can see what requests are done and at what point in the process the delays are introduced.
    Then, I would run a packet capture on the ClearPass server to see if the authentications to your SLDAP server are going out as expected, or if there might be misconfigured servers or so.

    I will run a trace from the browser and see. 

    I assume SLDAP authentication part is working since I can see certificate generated for user/device on Clearpass as soon as hit login on client browser.

    Update; 

    Last Sunday night installed software update patch to upgrade v 6.10.2 to 6.10.3.  Since then hanging issue disappeared magically.   Nothing on release notes linking issue I had.  Onboarded about nearly 100 devices so far and working well.
