Clearpass DUR NetDestination Domain Names

    I'm trying to configure a NetDestination for a Clearpass 6.10.2.182283 DUR using domain names but I only have the option to create IP-based rules.

    According to https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ClearPass/6.10/PolicyManager/Content/CPPM_UserGuide/Enforce/EPAruba_Downloadable_Role.htm?Highlight=netdestination#Netdestination I can define a NetDestination Configuration profile with rule type as name, but I only have "host" and "network" as options in the drop-down list.

    Am I missing something simple here or does the "name" option no longer exist? I'm running CPPM .

    I believe the "name" option only becomes available when creating a DUR for Mobility Controllers. I don't think the option is available for AOS-S or AOS-CX Switches

    Thanks Chris – you are correct. Unfortunately the "name" option is not available for Aruba-OS switches.
