CentOS stuck in loop

  • 1.  CentOS stuck in loop

    Just installed  ova for fresh install of 8.2.10  for CentOS upgrade following upgrade from 8.2.9 to 8.2.10 and performed backup. (VM btw)  At console I am prompted for logon. Then proceed thru steps 1 thru 4. Not prompted for step 5. Proceed thru step 6. Step 7 builds cert and system returns to console prompt and cycle begins again. Suggestions ?​

    This was seen sometimes while using the OVA file. If its for production i would recommend ISO instead of OVA as OVA is mainly for lab setup. In this case we can either use ISO and do the install, or involve a TAC, where they can get into rescue mode and update the config file to get the loop issue fixed.
