    Hi,
we have Airwave as a management platform for our switches and IAP clusters.
I recently got a question to check if one particular AP was broadcasting a certain SSID. I searched in Airwave, there I saw all SSID's that are configured in the cluster (also the one that is in a zone), but that's the same on ALL AP's. So I logged in to the web interface of the VC, selected that particular AP, but I couldn't see any SSID information there.

Does somebody know if there's a way to check which SSID's a particular IAP is effectively broadcasting, please?

    Thanks

You can log into the AP and run the "show ap bss-table" command.

Top of Stairs# show ap bss-table

    Aruba AP BSS Table

bss ess port ip phy type ch/EIRP/max-EIRP cur-cl ap name in-t(s) tot-t flags

In Airwave we can check list SSIDs broadcasted by AP, go to Devices > Monitor page under Radio section we see list of SSIDs

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
In Airwave under Devices, there is no "Monitor" page:

However, I do see that if I open a group of devices, but I don't have a radio section there:

Also in the column picker, there is no "Radio" option, only Radio Mac Address or channel or power:

Click on any IAP/AP it will take us to AP's Devices > Monitor page, under this we will have Radio section.

    Hi,
thanks for your reply, however that's not what I was looking for. In my initial post here, there's this:
I searched in Airwave, there I saw all SSID's that are configured in the cluster (also the one that is in a zone), but that's the same on ALL AP's

So what you say in your reply, does not show the SSID's that are effectively being broadcasted, but all SSID's that are configured in the cluster.

    Regards,

When you are on the first Devices menu, start at "List" and then hover over the AP that you are interested in. A little box will appear which says "Monitor" and "Manage" and you can click on either one. The default is "Monitor" which will come up if you just click on the individual AP. Once you are there, "Monitor" and "Manage" will appear in the menu between "List" and "New".
