    some users have a negative connection time indicated in the
    any explanation for the above observation?
    i thought perhaps idle time, but often there is non-zero throughput.
    just curious.

    If you changed the time without rebooting, that will happen.

    nope. never changed time. on installation, set time to use ntp.
    also, i c this only for a small number of sessions. it was due to a manual time change w/o reboot,
    i would expect it to affect all sessions either b4 or after the time change.
    tnx 4 the suggestion anyway.
    another ideas?

    Open a technical support case.  I don't have enough information to guess beyond that.
