I have an aruba IAP 305(indoor)  current version 8.3.0.6_69129.  When I click on check for new version of firmware I get the following error...

    Image_check_internal error 001 code 2

Can anyone tell me why or how to resolve this problem?

Happening on a 205 and getting "image_check_required class not found" on a 303H.

    Both under v6.5.4.12

I have IAP-225-RW. Seems to have nothing to do with the firmware version or AP model. A backend missconfiguration is a guess from me....

We have identified the issue and filed a bug.  For now, the error just means that there is no firmware update available.

I will post here when it is fixed.

This is a backend error.  It means that there is no firmware upgrade available and it is not handled correctly by the access point.  For now assume it means there is no firmware upgrade.

I will re-post when it is fixed.

When will this be fixed? I know my APs are on `8.6.0.16_83052` and I'm trying to upgrade to `8.6.0.18_84257` but I'm still getting the `image_check_internal error 001 code 2` error...

Let's face it. HPE have been going down the pan for a number of years. I used to be an HP partner and then an HP/HPE partner. Now I don't do any new business with them at all. Only have to deal with them for any old legacy stuff and I am guaranteed a lot of wasted time and effort even just to speak to somebody. Aruba's Australian office published contact number (any option you choose once you dial it) just gets dumped to a generic mobile phone mailbox!
