+1 on reaching out to TAC. If you don't want to do that (or can't do that), you may try to run the command
format 0:2 from the cpboot prompt. That may resolve the issue. If you can open a TAC case, I would recommend doing that first as you may brick your controller further.

Subject: Bricked 7005 MC after OS upgrade.
After upgrading a 7005 MC it did not restart due to missing 'Ancillary Files' resulting in it to hang at a 'mdir' prompt. After several upgrade attempts the situation remained. In a fit of desperation I formatted the flash memory so to start from scratch. After that the result was the same but this time there were different files missing but it still hangs at the 'mdir' prompt. I have added the startup log for review.
I have searched the net for any reference of this happening and it is documented but the remedy is to just reload the image. That hasn't worked for me. I guess it possible the controller is hosed but I am still hopefull someone can chime in with a solution.
