    I have couple CAP's already managed by aruba controller 7030, Is there a way to change the hostname of the CAP without reboot of CAP or do I need reprovision?

    rename will reboot AP automatically

    Hi,

    If you used CPsec to provision APs.  use this below Command.  I used this Command to Rename 900 APs. But anyhow you have to reboot AP but no need to re provision 

    whitelist-db cpsec modify mac-address [mac] ap-name [new-name]

    apboot ap-name [current-name]
