    Hello -

    I found that we weren't running MM-VA-500 and it was due to our systems group building CPU/Memory/Flash storage for MM-VA-50 (3CPU, 6G Memory, 6G Flash) where 6CPU, 8G Mem and 8G Flash is required.

    When systems attempted to allocate more resources to our MM, he got this error on

    MM Error

    boot, Error: Virtual CPU sockets cannot be more than one.



    Hoping someone has some guidance, or if we'll need to rebuild the system from scratch.

    Hi Kelvin,

    Are you trying to deploy VM on the ESXi platform? If yes, did you select 6 CPUs in the "Cores per Socket" drop-down menu (not sure what the exact option is on Hyper-V)?

    Hi Nebojsa.  Yes, this was done... after seeing the error, we reverted back to 3CPU's and the MM booted up ok.
