Have you fooled around with the LLDP-MED options?

Subject: Cisco Switch PoE Actual Usage vs IEEE Classification
I have AP-535s connected to Cisco PoE+ (not ++) switches and the switches are allocating a full 30w from the PoE budget. I would like to find a way to tell the switches to just allocate what the APs are really using (about 9.8w). I assume the allocation is based on IEEE classification. I have LLDP running on the switches. Can someone point me to a reference or let me know what I'm missing to do this? I have found a command "power inline consumption default <wattage>, but it sounds like it would hard-limit the APs to that maximum wattage. With 30w allocated to each AP, I'm burning through my entire ~700w PoE budget with only x24 APs
Thanks,
Brad
