We're currently receiving the following error on Android devices when attempting to access our guest login which is via a captive portal created on ClearPass. The error occurs after selecting the Facebook icon on the captive portal - does not get as far as entering credentials.

This was working up until today (06/10) and have since seen an article from Facebook confirming. Is there a way around this which can be applied within ClearPass or the Facebook development console which can enable the use of embedded browsers?

    No issues with Apple devices.

This might not be the best or easiest way, but I think you can add JavaScript to the page and maybe a string to launch the default browser could be added. This way the page is always opened using a browser and not the embedded browser, but it's still automatic for the users. Unfortunately I'm no web developer and can't offer the string(s) to use, but just a thought.

Not really a fix, more of a workaround, but something to keep in the back pocket if this becomes a bigger problem.

    Best of luck!
