We have the new image file in a folder "Arubaimage" on the USB drive.  But the controller isn't mounting the USB, but it does see it.  Anyone run into this issue?

Which model controller and what method are you using?

If you are going from 6 to 8, you should use the console, so you would want to do a "write erase all" anyways because the configuration structure and the licenses are different.

We are going from 6.5 to 8.6.  How else do I get the AOS 8 image file onto the controller if not using a USB drive?  I do have remote console access.

I am using a USB drive with the folder Arubaimage and the image file in that folder.  We place the USB into the USB port on the controller and it's supposed to mount the USB,m read the image file and allow us to perform the upgrade using the LCD screen.

    Kind Regards,

There could be a bug with that procedure.  Did you try just doing a normal upgrade?

Also, ArubaImage is case sensitive, I believe.
