    Dear great Community,

I have just finished setup of my first AP11 and it works so far.
From "connected clients" I see a client with just a MAC address (no IP) listed - neither with Up- nor Download.

The wireless network is secured with a strong key using WPA2.

Is there any obvious explanation where the participant could come from? I can rule out it is any of my devices.

    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,

    Birgit

It could be a device that input the wrong preshared key to the network.

Thanks a lot! It turned out to be the Samsung TV which behaved not correctly as it had an old key for WLAN in settings (SSID matched but key was meanwhile wrong).

I would have not considered the TV because for a quite long time it is connected via ethernet cable but somehow the WLAN module sends still data crap into the air - this time a wrong key.

So, this is fully resolved. Thanks for your time!
