Good evening everyone,
I've encountered an issue with my client, which purchased around 30 pcs of AP-303RW (supports aruba OS 8.x.x).
In this network, i have 2 Aruba 7220 controllers and around 1000 access points that for sure are not compatible with controller's lates OS.
My question is how or if its possible to downgrade the 30 pcs of ap-303rw to a version which is compatible with my controllers (6.7.x.x.). Thanks in advance.

Hi,

It's not possible to downgrade software of 303RW because this model has minimum required 8.3.x.x version.
For better way, I recommended to upgrade your exisiting to AOS 8 to support new AP model that luanch since now.

Impossible to update to 8.3.xx
i have more than 700 ap's that will not work with that. i saw images for 6.4.x something. Is there no way to downgrade the firmware?

For 303RW, it is no way to downgrade the firmware.
Do 1000 APs support maximum version 6.4.x? 
If yes, you need to create cluster as IAP for 303RW and use Virtual controller to manage.
