    Hello,

We have a site that has been plagued by issues for months with wireless access.

We have a mix of AP-325s and AP-365s at this site, all managed by Aruba Central. We have several other sites managed the same way/with similar configuration and no issues.

At the problematic site, users will report inability to connect to the wireless networks. In Aruba Central, the only problem we can find are high memory utilization alerts for some of the APs. If we reboot the cluster, the memory utilization alerts clear and everything works fine for a couple of weeks. Memory utilization slowly creeps up until the issue recurs. We haven't gotten very far with support. Firmware version is 8.6.0.11_80920. We upgraded to this version a couple of months ago on support's advice.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem?

Do you see a correlation between the high-memory and users reporting issues? If you reboot and the memory goes down, do the reports stop and get back after those couple of weeks? High-memory in it self is not always an issue.

With support, if you don't feel you are getting somewhere, feel free to escalate the issue.

Hi, yes. The high memory definitely correlates to the user connectivity impact. Memory utilization ends up in the high 90s when we start seeing the issue. I noticed in the release notes for 8.6.10 there is a very similar issue listed as resolved. I updated our cluster to 8.6.14 earlier this week, although we were already on 8.6.11.

In that case, please escalate the case with support if there is no progress towards a solution. Having another engineer look at the case may even help.
