    Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to configure an Aruba AP as a reverse telnet  device.

Coming from a Cisco background I was able to do the via SSH/Telnet to the device on port 2001.
This connected me to the console port From there I was able remotely configure serial only devices.

The need for this is getting less and less, but some devices still need to be configured via a serial cable.

I am keen to understand if this feature is available and how do we configure the unit.

In the ap system-profile you enable telnet.  In AOS8.7, whilst it is called telnet, it is actually ssh.

After you enable that, you can ssh (or telnet in <8.7) to the AP.  username is root and password is that defined in the ap-system-profile as ap-console-password'.
