    Hi,

    I have 7 AP Aruba AP-303P. Firmware version 8x

I want to set firstas controller (master), rest as slave.

All have factory settings. Connected to one switch with PoE. All is connected to E0 and I create one Wireless network.

    My configuration is:

    AP 1
    192.168.0.44 255.255.255.0
    Virtual Controller IP: 192.168.0.43

    AP 2.
    192.168.0.45 255.255.255.0

I cannot configure AP2 to work as slave in AP1. How to connect AP2 to AP1?

When I manual add MAC adress they doesn't see each otther.

I'm doesn't have Console Cable. I have only access via Web or SSH.

Is there any manual how to congire like this?

what is the exact Instant firmware version?
you dont need to configure AP2 to be part of the Instant cluster, it happens automatically as long as the APs have Layer 2 adjacency.

    Aruba OS 8.6.0.2

    Firmware 8.6.0.2_73853

    How can I do this?

When I reset APs and boot, connect to SetMeUp-XXX, configure IP (mask and gateway) on AP and create network then I see two networks, new and SetMeUp-XX
After reboot, the AP doesn't boot. After few minutes both APs still have blinking green, Wireless doesn't up. I cannot acccess to LAN or Wireless.

I'm doesn't have console cable and I don't know why it's doesn't boot. I only can reset APs with button reset.

I configure APs offline, without Internet access.

When I set set network after set Maintance -> Convert to standalone AP and repeat procedure above - after reboot,  APs work. But I want to have

    APs not in standalone mode.

I suggest to double check your LAN switch to ensure the ports that the APs are on the same VLAN and there is no port security, etc.
clear the ARP/DHCP binding (if you are using the switch as DHCP server)
Then power off one of the APs and factory reset he other AP and bring it up and then configure it.
The AP should get a valid DHCP IP address along with a valid Default router and DNS.
once you are done with the configuration, I also suggest that you upgrade the firmware to the latest on that series. (8.6.0.15)
once all this is done, connect the second AP.
