    Hi,

    the max. allowed E.I.R.P in Europe is 20dbm. Whats happen if an external antenna exceeds the limit "per design" (with gain and mimo without cable loss).

    15dbi antenna + 6dbi 4x4 MIMO Gain = 21dbm EIRP

    If i set the conducted Power to 0dbm, the EIRP is still too high.

    In the Aruba software, all RF power setting and reported numbers are in EIRP levels. Power is adjusted "under the hood" for antenna gain, so for APs that support external antennas it is critical to provision the correct antenna gain numbers.
    Note that some of the platforms that support high-gain antennas, we can set the internal (per chain conducted) power to negative dBm values.
