    Hello to all,

I don't understand the following interface:

If I understand well, Power is well the EIRP? if yes 23 Dbm is well?

    - 92 Dbm in noise is correct? it seems to me that the more the figure moves away from 0 the more it is not good

Do you have optimizations to advise me for an area with high concentration of wifi (like big city)?

    I thank you
    Sincerely

Yes that would be the EIRP. The closer to -100 for the noise floor the better. You want a large gap between RSSI and Noise.

For RF best practices I would start here : https://community.arubanetworks.com/blogs/jamie-test1/2019/02/11/rf-and-roaming-optimization-for-aruba-80211ac-networks?CommunityKey=dcc83c62-1a3a-4dd8-94dc-92968ea6fff1

Thank you for your feedback and the document.

So if the  EIRP is big ,so  is better?

    Best regards

Not necessarily. You don't want to set the EIRP higher than the max transmit power of your least capable most important (LCMI) device. Think of it like this. I can talk to you across a football field with a megaphone. You can hear me, but if you try to talk back without (lower power), I may not hear you.

Also, setting EIRP higher can also lead to other issues like CCI or Co-Channel Interference. More than one AP operating in the same space on the same channel.

I would also use this as a guideline to get going. See attached image.

Thank you for your explanations. I understand better.
As for your second message, I will apply it right away.

I have a question for you, if you don't mind, for wifi video (teams type) what parameter should I pay the most attention to?

    I thank you

I would keep an eye on signal quality and device health. You would want good SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio) for WiFi video and audio.
