Removing backup Mobility Master

I have two virtual Mobility Masters (AOS 8.7), VMM1 and VMM2, configured with VRRP and Master redundancy.
I would like to remove VMM2, what is the proper procedure to remove backup/standby Mobility Master?

Do I just reverse the configuration process?
    - Disable database sync
    - Remove VRRP
    - Change VMM1 IP address to the IP address that was used in VRRP VIP

    Thanks

If you just down the server, you will be fine.  If you choose to replace the server, you would delete its entry and add another.

What I want to do, is totally remove VMM2, not replace it.
So there would be only one Mobility Master (VMM1) left.

As the Mobility Masters are virtual machines in a high-availabilty VMware cluster with snapshot backups, there isn't really a need for second Mobility Master.
