503H & 505H FIPs compliant

    Hi everyone

    Does anyone know if the 503H & 505H APs are FIPs compliant  - I can't seem to find any documentation on it

    yes they are. they need minimum version ArubaOS and Aruba InstantOS 8.7.1.0 (AP-503H) and 8.7.0.0 (AP-505)
    so look for FIPS extension firmware like "ArubaOS_70xx_8.7.1.3-FIPS_79818"

    Please note there is a difference between FIPS hardware and software.  FIPS software can be downloaded, but FIPS hardware needs to be ordered with a FIPS SKU.  Your installation might require both to be fully FIPS compliant.  An explanation is here:  https://community.arubanetworks.com/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?MID=9886
