    Hi guys,

I have a ~70 AP225 connecting to aruba 7200 and one of them has been going offline consistently every other day for the past month or so.  When I look at the AP LEDs it is blinking green and blinking amber.  I look at the HP switch it's connected to and the light is amber indicating 100mb.  To fix it I've been unplugging it from the switch port and plugging it back in.  Once I do this it finds the controller and is good for a day or two.

When I look at Diagnostics > Access Points > Technical Support the log shows the below:

Has anyone seen this error message before "Controller aged out" and how you fixed it?

    Thanks!

I would test the ethernet cable and the patch cable.

I was thinking the same thing.  If it is just one access point that consistently has this problem and none of the others do, it could very well be a problem with your physical connection.

Did you check the cable run and if there is enough PoE budget on your switch available?
