Has anyone had to change VLANs and IP addresses of all of your access points?  We are doing an overhaul of our network and this is one of the items that need handling.  On the surface it seems as simple as adding the new VLAN to the interface and making sure that the wired switch ports are on the same VLAN.  Is it that simple?

It should be. You would also want to make sure that your controller discovery method is covered in case the APs lose their node lists, etc... If your using DHCP options for controller discovery, you would want to make sure its included on your new VLAN.

    Hi,

We did that on upgrading from 6.5.x to 8.6.x. As said, dont forget to DHCP configs and firewall settings.
