In order to apply the aruba asset tracking solution do i need to use the aruba tags with aruba wlan infrastructure only, or can i use aruba tags with 3rd party ble enabled APs?

Because as far as i am concerned you cannot use the asset tracking solution without ble enabled APs.

Hi Aryap,

You can’t use arubatags, the aruba meridian and map subscription with 3rd party APs. At least, as per documentation and my current knowledge.

You need a dedicated Aruba infrastructure if you want to make this ecosystem work.

well thats what i said. aruba asset tags are only supported on Aruba APs and it needs meridian subs mentioned before.
