    hello all-

I'm dealing with a couple Aruba controllers with 100-200 APs connected, and we are looking for some basic trending data on usage after upgrading the APs and increasing the backhaul connectivity- the client obviously wants to know they've spent money wisely on replacing AP105s with 205s.  Does the controller literally have no historical reporting at all?  If I want simple statistics such as device numbers, trafic totals, breakdown of device types over a period of several days/weeks, is Airwave the only option besides logging in every hour and taking a screenshot?  And how much does it cost to license Airwave?

Controllers maintain about 4 hrs of data.

So yes, AirWave would be the route to go for a longer tracking of historical trends.

You'll want to reach out to your local HPE/Aruba sales team to get a pricing.
