ClearPass Guest Redirect Issue

    I have the following devices:


    ClearPass Policy Manager (6.4) w/ Guest Module

    Aruba IAP-205 Virtual Controller (latest code release)


    Setup Guest network using external captive portal on ClearPass Guest. Guest connects and is put in the Guest_Logon role, which allows dhcp/dns to anywhere, and http/https to clearpass. User connects and browses the web and is redirected to registration page. Registers and waits for sponsor's approval. Sponsor approves, guest clicks "login" button and is redirected back to registration page. Nothing shows up in access tracker, nothing shows up in event viewer.


    VC is configured as network device because 802.1x auth is working on seperate SSID. Is there something I'm missing on the VC or ClearPass Guest?

    Do you have dynamic radius proxy enabled on your VC ?
    it's CoA enabled on both sides ?

    Yes, I found the problem. In the GUI under the Guest network, when we are at the "Security" tab, their seems to be some kind of glitch where I would click the ClearPass server as an Auth source, but it would choose "None". Finally got ClearPass in their and it works now. Not sure if it's a browser issue or not, but It's all good now.
