We have a number of sites (IAP 105s, 205s, 126.96.36.199-188.8.131.52_62611 FW) that use IP reservations for retail devices, this is currently done through CLI, using syntax below (example IPs)
ip dhcp "VLAN 1"
server-type Local,L2server-vlan 1
subnet 10.10.10.0subnet-mask 255.255.255.0exclude-address 10.10.10.181exclude-address 10.10.10.191lease-time 14400default-router 10.10.10.254host ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 10.10.10.10
We are however moving to centralised management through Airwave (184.108.40.206) GUI - and have found that there is no option within the instant GUI to create/modify DHCP reserverations.
We will be upgrading to 8.2.5 this year - has anyone else come across this or know if it is supported in later releases of Airwave?
I have checked in my server 220.127.116.11. DHCP local profile of GUI have excluded address box. as below screenshot:
thanks - but there is still no GUI option for the CLI config
"host ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 10.10.10.10"
which binds the IP address to the MAC specified...maybe it'll become available in future
right now just IAP CLI support "host ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff 10.10.10.10". IAP UI and IGC haven't support it.
