    Hi All,

I have a pair of redundant mobility masters, and I have two license pools managed by those mobility masters. The first pool has 100 licenses (80 are being used by APs), and my second pool has 50 licenses (all 50 being used at the moment).

The first pool serves a local site, whilst the second pool serves a completely seperate site. I need to add 5 APs to my second site... Do I have to purchase 5 additional AP licenses for my second pool, or can I move some licenses from the first pool, to the second pool?

I've read online that you can move licenses if you need to RMA an appliance? But this doesn't quite answer my question?

    Thanks :)

Yes you move licenses between the pools whenever you want.

In fact you always upload any license in one share pool, after that you can make serval pools dedicated to some controller. You can move from one the the other pool whenever you want without any downtime.

If you move ap license also move the pef and rfprotect if you have this, this licenses must equal to the ap licenses in that pool.
