VSF Issue

    I have the following switches which i need to link but i dont have cascading module 

    Aruba JL256A 2930F-48G-PoE+-4SFP+ Switch 

    Aruba JL322A 2930M 48G-POE + 1 Slot Switch 

      So i just wanted to know if i can connect them in vsf mode

    No, you can't.

     

    Aruba 2930F supports VSF (also known as a Frontplane Stacking FPS technology), Aruba 2930M doesn't.

     

    Aruba 2930M supports Backplane Stacking (BPS) techonology (by using dedicated Hardware Stacking Modules and Stacking Cables), Aruba 2930F doesn't.

     

    VSF can be used within Aruba 2930F Switches...exactly like BPS can be used within Aruba 2930M Switches, you can't stacking them because FPS and BPS use different approaches.
