Early Monday morning I updated the firmware for a couple of our Aruba 305's by using the web gui. The version that installed is labeled as 22.214.171.124 which I do not believe exists. Now I cannot get back to the web gui and keep getting error: This site cannot be reached. I can however get to the AP via SSH. When I run show version it shows as 126.96.36.199. Is there a way to revert back to version 188.8.131.52?
Can you do a write erase all?
I am sure I could but I was hoping for a solution that didn't set it back to factory default. Any other suggestions, or is that my only option?
You could downgrade the IAP firmware via the commandline:
Check the show image version output, if you find 184.108.40.206 image on the other partition just do "switch-partition-reboot" on the IAP shell
