Recent received 2 s2500 switches and did a factory reset, then I am trying to access the webgui following Quick Start Guide, but after pressing <enter> on the GUI Quick Setup and it entering Quick-Setup running mode, I am unable to access the WebGui.  I have set my windows 10 machine to get a DHCP address from the switch (direct connect to port 2 on the switch.  And it does get an address (176.16.0.253) but when I enter the switch IP 176.16.0.254 into FireFox, Opera or Chrome, its just says unable to connect.

If I drop into windows command line, and do a ping I get the following error when I am running dhcp.

    C:\Users\James>ping 176.16.0.254

Pinging 176.16.0.254 with 32 bytes of data:
    PING: transmit failed. General failure.
    PING: transmit failed. General failure.
    PING: transmit failed. General failure.
    PING: transmit failed. General failure.

    Ping statistics for 176.16.0.254:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),

If I switch to static IP it just times out.

Any suggestions it is on AOS 7.4.1.2 if that has anything to do with it.

    Problem solved.

Well, if I actually looked at what my IP address was, I would of figured out my issue.  So to my spouse who point out my brain fart that the ip address is 172.16.0.254 and not 176.16.0.254 my thanks, and an IOU!
