Probable 802.11r problem

    Some users are experiencing problems with roaming. Running AOS 8.5. 802.11r is enabled. A look at the controller log shows:

    message.c, handle_sta_up_dn:3313: handle_sta_up_dn(): 3313, fast-roam for mac <mac> before ip-user is created. Send de-auth.

    I can make some guesses as to what this means, but if anyone can shed a bit more light, that would be helpful.

    I have a customer with the same issue, did you get more info about this?

    Or somebody else who know what is going wrong?

    Really sorry, I've had no time to troubleshoot this... but it's still on my list. I can tell you it's recent Lenovo machine with an Intel NIC - not sure which model - in case that's helpful.

    one of our customers had the same issue... they resolved it with the following commands on the client device on the cmd as administrator:

    Netsh int ip reset
    Netsh winsock reset
    Ipconfig /flushdns
    Ipconfig /registerdns

    But I don't know the model of the computer
