    Hello,

I am back again for more :-).

I am planing on migrating from OS 6 to 8. I found the link below that provides design recommendations and configuration guidelines but not for Master/local only.

    https://ase.arubanetworks.com/solutions/id/179

In my case I have a Master/local. My setup is load balancing, half of the APs on the master and the other half on the local. The controllers are in separate data centers

I would like some help on how to do the following

    1. Add a virtual MM.( what hardware and software needed ?)
    2. Use the migration tool to upgrade 1ST controller to OS8,  then terminate the APs to it (I need some example or videos to follow)
    3. Upgrade 2ND controller to OS8.
Setup both Controller as Cluster ( examples please).

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey, hope this helps

    1. Add a virtual MM.( what hardware and software needed ?

    https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_85_Web_Help/Content/install-guide/virt-appl/intro.htm

You will need MM licenses (enough to cover your APs, WLCs and MM)

    1. Use the migration tool to upgrade 1ST controller to OS8,  then terminate the APs to it (I need some example or videos to follow)

    Fundamentals Guide covers this

    1. Upgrade 2ND controller to OS8.
Setup both Controller as Cluster ( examples please).
