my guest splash screen has stopped working. just says that there is a certificate error

    My company's guest Wi-Fi SSID has stopped working. It is supposed to present the user with a splash screen asking for logon credentials. Just keeps displaying "There's a prblem with this website's security certificate". Continue t use this website link keeps looping.

     

    My company users Wi-Fi SSID is still working correctly.

     

    Can anyone advise a resoluton to this issue?

    Are you using the stock controller certificate? You need to add your own
    certificate to the controller. It is recommended to acquire a standard
    public SSL certificate from your favorite provider.

    Or use an HTTP instead of HTTPS , if it's for free public guest access.

    You written that u got a loop even after approving the cert error? external or internal splash page? if you are using internal page... you will get cert errors if you didnt uploaded your cert

    ,If you want cert free config, I adivse you to upload or creating your own login / spalsh page on external FTP and use it with out https only with http.

    Are u using the Splash page on the IAP or external one?
    Did you changed anything in your guest-logon acl? share with us your configuration for the guest ssid / include AAA profile and ACL.

    In short, the built-in securelogin.arubanetworks.com trusted certificate was revoked this week by the certificate authority and needs to be replaced by your own certificate. Why and how to do that is in the mentioned thread.
