HPE officeconnect 1950 with ClearPass

    A customer with several HPE officeconnect 1950 switches is asking me if it is possible to get it working with ClearPass?

     

    I'm not a big fan of the 1950 switches, and i doubt if it will work but the documentation says:

    IEEE 802.1X and RADIUS network logins
    controls port-based access for authentication and accountability

     

    So from the documentation you might say it does support port-authentication on paper, but has anyone ever played around with a 1950 switch for port authentication, what are the limitations?
