Recommended Up/Down stream guest bandwidth contract?

    Is there a recommended Up/Down stream bandwidth contract for guest users?  Currently we have it set to 1/3 per user.  Thanks.

    None recommended.

     

    An administrator would do that if his bandwidth is limited and he wants to limt the traffic.  A user who had sizeable (100meg) bandwidth removed the bandwidth contract and user satisfaction increased.

    We set our contract for Guests to 512 Kbps / 1.5 Mbps to remain usable, but encourage people to register with our Information Desk. Doing so will generate a username and password that will place them in a sponsored guest role of 3 Mbps / 8 Mbps.
