    This has been partially answered in some posts, but I am wondering if the Instant VC can be used as a DHCP server for devices other than the wireless clients that are connecting to the SSIDs hosted on the IAP.

    It can be use for wired devices connected directly to the IAP , not sure if that answers your question

    It kind of does. Basically what I was looking for is setting up some switches to use the IAP as the DHCP server, but it sounds like that will not work.

    You can create a local scope in the IAP and create a trunk wired profile where you are planning to connect the switch in the IAP include the VLAN that it was defined in the local DHCP scope

    So I need to set my switch ports to trunks? I am using HP 1920 switches. This is a very small install so no need/budget for larger switches.
