This is the most weird problem I ever have with Aruba. After I upgrade to ArubaOS 220.127.116.11 version on a 3600 controller, Mesh role selector from AP provisioning page have dissapear.
I discovered it because i was going to reprovision a mesh portal into a mesh point and I Couldn't from webUI

Have i miss something obvious?

I have tried with firefox, chrome and IExplorer.
I tried deleting all information from browsers too (historial, cookies...), but didn't work
It is a known issue and should be fixed in ArubaOs 18.104.22.168.
If you need to provision a mesh device, you will probably have to do it on the commandline if you stay on 22.214.171.124;

thanks for the info, i also was confused why it disappeared.
side annotation from myself and agreed by aruba.support while i asked them why in "licensing tab" indoor/outdoor mesh disappeared they told it's only optical and mesh still available , and i should use CLI for the moment :
With regards to the issue about missing option for mesh point/portal provisioning when we tried the flashback up in our controller we were able to see the option to provision as portal or point. In 188.8.131.52 the Indoor mesh entry has been removed from the license tab but still the provision option is available.
i first thought it's perhaps disappeared in arubaOS cause not avail in licenses.. i mean here :
in 184.108.40.206 indoor/outdoor mesh was still there
I am not sure there is much to say about it, really. It is a bug and it is resolved in 220.127.116.11.
Well then Support should advice me as customer to upgrade to 18.104.22.168 or to tell about the BUG if it's an official bug , while it's not listed in RN's of 22.214.171.124 unfortunately, that's why i didnt upgrade just ot 126.96.36.199
anyways, im happy to see other people having same issue and so im happy that Airheads people share their experiences amongst others
It is in the release notes. It just does not specify Mesh for some reason. It is the same issue and the user should upgrade to 188.8.131.52 to fix it:
Symptom: Remote AP settings were missing in the controller WebUI under the Configuration->Wireless- >AP Installation > Provision page. The remote AP license check is removed to fix this issue. Scenario: This issue was observed in controllers running ArubaOS 184.108.40.206. Platform: All platforms.

yes, saw that, was the only "provision" search term i found. well anyways, it's clearified , i was already confused why mesh has gone, and CLI as workaround is ok .
