    Hi there,

Apologies in advance if this has been asked before.

My ACMA expired 6 months ago.

I currently hold a CCNP Enterprise (Core) certification with Wireless Design Specialist.
This is effectively regarded as the new CCNP certification then you choose either Wireless deign or wireless implementation.

Aruba mention on their site that if you are a holder of CCNP Wireless then you can jump to both the ACMP + ACSP syllabus and exams without the need to do both associates.

    My questions is really:

    1. Is this still valid for the above new formatted CCNP certification
    2. What is the mechanism to prove to Aruba my CCNP certifications so I can certify. I know i can publish them via the Cisco portal but just trying to understand the process.

    Regards,
    Anthony

From what I understand, yes the newer CCNP certification will still work. As far as validation of credentials goes, I believe you will be contacted for proof of certification.

    Hi there,
    thank you for your response.
I received an update from Aruba.
Im a bit disappointed to learn they only recognise the old CCNP certification and not the new Enterprise CCNP.
So that effectively rules out the Core and Concentration Wireless Design and Implementation syllabus.
    Very strange.
Perhaps Aruba don't value these new certifications?
I now have to look at doing 4 x exams instead if 2.
    mmm…

Anthony, here is the response from the Aruba certification team:

    Hi Anthony!

Thanks for reaching out. Regarding the fast track for Cisco Certified professionals please contact the HPE Certification support team to submit your Cisco cert for approval. They will confirm if you are eligible to go straight to the ACMP certification and bypass the ACMA prerequisite.

It will be helpful to have your HPE Learner ID handy to provide them.

If you have any issues or questions on training please feel free to reach back out to the Aruba team here or at arubatraining@Hpe.com.

    Thanks,
    Jenna

Here it is 7 months later and I'm going through the same issue getting my CCNP (since 2011 when it was really still Routing & Switching) recognized.  I've already passed the ACSP exam while skipping the ACSA however it's stuck in limbo since they said my CCNP says 'enterprise' and not 'routing and switching'.  None of them say that anymore.  /eyeroll
