    Hello everyone,

we currently have a working ZTP solution for 2530 switches without Airwave or Central, only with a DHCP/TFTP server. There we have only one basic configuration for all of them. To make this possible, we use the Ignore tag for the Generic header ID, as described here: https://techhub.hpe.com/eginfolib/networking/docs/switches/YA-YB/16-01/webhelp/content/ch07s04.html

Unfortunately this does not work with the 2930 series. Is there any similar function for these devices or does every switch type (JL319A, JL321A) have to be configured individually ?

    Greetings,
    Lukas

    Hi Lukas,

I was looking for this as well, some time ago and the answer was, that the ignore tag is not available for the 2930 platform. They have to configured individually, unfortunately.
