    I apologize if this is a duplicate post. And I will apologize again, if it is, for posting this in the incorrect forum, if I have. I was unable to find the mobility controller listed among the topics in the forum descriptions.

    Is it possible to enable email notifications to be sent whenever an AP goes down on the controller? Would connecting to Airwave provide this functionality? Or is this something that needs to be setup through SMNP?

    If SMNP is the solution, can anyone recommend an SMNP monitoring tool that works well with Aruba?

    Any guidance/documentation would be greatly appreciated.

    Controllers do not sent e-mail alerts. You would want to use airwave for that.
