    Hey everyone,
We need to find a quick replacement for the 2530-8G power supply  - Universal power adapter - 15 W external power adapter (100 - 240 V ac, 50 - 60 Hz input and 12 V dc at 1.25 A maximum output) - Includes the adapter and DC cord to the device - AC Power cord must be ordered separately - 5066-1122.

Does anyone know the connector size/model for this on the switch? Does it have a pin, what size is the connector, etc?

    Thanks!
    RK

I have not seen the power supply as 'spare part'. The adapter for my 2530-8G PoE+ is a special 2 pin connector that I have not seen in other products. From the installation guide, I see an image with a standard DC round bus connector:

On the image you can see the specifications (Voltage and required current) are written on the switch, as well if the bus or tip is the + or -. If you can't find an original spare part, you may try a 'universal DC power supply' with the same connector size, same voltage (DC 12V) and equal or higher current (1.25+ A). I have seen such that have selectable voltage, and come with a bunch of different connectors, so you can try and check the correct size.

If the power supply is broken, it may be covered under warranty. You can reach out to your Aruba supplier and ask them if they can provide you with a spare power supply.

Do you have the SKU (Product Number) for the switch?  The part number you list for the power supply looks correct, but https://partsurfer.hpe.com is a great place to look up parts to be sure.

You can start at https://parts.hpe.com/hpparts/catalog_solutions_NA.aspx?cc=US&lang=EN to find a partner.  Select your country and you'll get the list of resellers. https://parts.hpe.com/Hpparts/Part_Resellers.aspx?mscssid=8A4D60456B164DF0B0553AB171441776&geo_code=NA got me the US partners.

An alternative is to buy from an eBay seller.  Here's a current listing: https://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-5066-1122-Universal-Power-Adapter-NEW/143915258706?hash=item2182049352:g:hxoAAOSwpBJfhans  This listing is active as of 14:51 UTC 8 April 2021.  As stated, you'll need to order the correct cord to plug into the wall.
