    Hi,

We have recently installed a pair of 8320s (JL581A) and noticed that some of the 48 1G/10G BASE-T ports are showing an amber port LED status. By checking the interface status it shows UP, fully operational and no errors whatsoever, we deducted that this occurs only when the negotiated speed is 1G (when connecting 10G capable devices port LED status is Green) as this only occurs on those ports which speed is 1G. By looking for documentation on this regard we found that actually amber indicates a port failure:

Furthermore, it seems there was a defect documented under CR_31773 and included as a fix in 10.00.0019:

We are running latest 10.05.0010 version. Is this properly documented somewhere as customer is asking for a valid documentation confirming this behavior?

    Thanks
