Does IAP support wildcard certificate for captive portal authentication? 



A:

IAP doesn't support wildcard server certificate for captive portal until Instant version 4.3. 

Starting from Instant 6.5.0.0-4.3.0.0, IAP supports wildcard server certificate for captive portal authentication. 

When a wildcard SSL certificate (with CN as *.domainname.com) is installed on the IAP for captive portal authentication, IAP uses the URL as "captiveportal-login.domainname.com" to present the captive portal page.
