Is there a method to globally turn off jumbo frames across all interfaces?  We have recently moved from a Cisco network to a HP and Jumbo seems to be enabled by default, however a number of our servers and other devices are dropping packets on their interfaces.  From what I can see this is done on an individual port bases - can anyone provide a command for a different approach.

Are you sure this is because of MTU on the interfaces? Its only a L2 limit, so as long as your L3 is the same size packets as before it shouldnt make a difference.

Not really sure at all, but troubleshooting to date has narrowed the problem down, with one option being the jumbo frames on the interfaces.  Are there any incompatibility/best practice issues around Jumbo interfaces being connected to an network which is only set for standard ethernet?

    Thanks
