Hello, 

Looking at the DS for AOS switch model 3810 what is the unit used for heat dissipation ?

BTU/hr or kJ/hr 

Also would anyone be able to direct me where to find or share the length of time that  hardware has been on the market : 

JL075A Aruba 3810M 16SFP+ 2-slot Switch
JL322A Aruba 2930M 48G PoE+ 1-slot Switch

What is the current status of the above HW lifecycle ?

I strongly suspect that the unit of measure associated with those values is kJ/h (and not BTU/h).

With regards to your various other questions:

• Aruba 2930M IIRC was probably unveiled by Aruba in May/June 2017 (1st Aruba 2930M Switch Series QuickSpecs was published during May 2017 but the release announcement was done during HPE Discover 2017 held in Las Vegas ) so it can't be considered too old.
• Aruba 3810M is older than Aruba 2930M (1st QuickSpecs dates back to December 2015 but IIRC it was announced on during March 2016).
