I was looking at the web interface of a 3com 4500 today, and two of the ports are yellow on the decivece summary page. So I looked at the color key, and it says that means they are running at a lower speed than 10/100/1000. What is interesting about that is there is nothing plugged into these two ports. Is this an indication of a switch going bad? or is there some other reason this would happen?
