Wireless Access

hello,

i was trying to download the latest firmware for the 3Com® OfficeConnect® Wireless 54 Mbps 11g Access Point from the old 3com-site, but that does not work. and on the hp-website i'm unable to find the firmware-update.

Just like you I am looking for the firmware and I am also unable to find it. 

However as no one has pointed you in the right direction i must assume HP are not very good at looking after 3Coms products :smileysad

There are some things listed at the link below for this unit.  I need a copy of the install cd, can you help me out?

You can download the firmware from the link.  You will have to create and HP account and login.

Unfortunately, once you land on that page, the link to the latest firmware is broken.

As usual there is no way to directly tell HP of this issue, so I was wondering if anybody has a backup copy of such firmware and would be willing to send it to me.

Was this after you provided your company info?  I stopped there.

actually it redirects me to a page where it asks me to log in (while I'm already logged in...), and there are no download links.

Did anybody figure out how to sort out this issue or at least to report it to HP? (the "contacts" page doesn't help).

Finally I did it.

1) I logged in from the redirected page (how this differs from the "normal" login procedure is a mystery).

2) I searched for "JD014A" from "My software"

3) I selected the link (probably the same as the aforementioned one)

4) at this point the provided link prompts me the acceptance of a download license and the download starts flawlessly
