has anyone been successful in getting a USB-Serial cable to work for the 5406zl switches? i've read posts from a few years back but nothing on a current 5406 model. can you share what has worked for you if you have? i'm trying to get a non-hp cable to work and have been unsuccessful in getting a connection with the switch console. i followed the settings listed by HP but no success so far. thanks in advance!

Hi,
Yes, we use a USB to serial cable and then a normal HP serial cable on our 5406zl chassis all the time.
Have you used the USB to serial cable successfully before?
